BEHIND THE LENS

 

As a kid I wanted to grow up and play baseball like my dad. Well, obviously my dreams and my reality didn't align with each other. Even after a couple years of college I still didn't know what career path was right for me. So thanks to my best friend who was in the U.S. Navy at the time, my eyes were opened to the military and I realized there's much more to it than I thought. So I walked into an Air Force recruiting office, asked for a list of jobs and that's when the lightbulb went off, when I saw the words "TV and Radio Broadcaster". Less than a year later I shipped off to bootcamp, went to my technical school then shot video for the Air Force from 2011-2016. I tried still photography in 2015 and have been hooked ever since.

 

I love capturing the beauty in this world whether it's God's colorful earth or someone's bright smile.
